One thing hasn’t changed much after moving back to Las Vegas – mornings we reminisce about living in Tampa Bay and nights nothing could tear us away from Las Vegas.
Take last night, for example. We attended Mass in Henderson and stayed for the parish festival afterward. St. Francis is our Patron Saint for our parish and this is his Feast Day weekend. The parish and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and a beautiful sunset is often part of the experience.
The drive home was spectacular! As we leave the church grounds, we coast down the hill with the view of the lights of the Las Vegas Strip before us. Then we head west toward the sunset as the sun dips behind the mountains. We live in the part of the Las Vegas Valley that is very open and still retains much of a ranch feel. We love it!
